For the longest time, I’ve dreamt of being an owner of a Goan shack. Drink a little, serve a bit. Shrimp for breakfast and free flowing Sangrias all day. Bargaining over fuel for extra cash, wear shorts and tang tops carefree, all 12 months. My part time job; a professional paragliding instructor. I fly above the beaches, post the aerial pictures on Facebook with #Goa to of course escalate my business; but a tiny bit to also make my friends feel miserable. Flaunting my deep meaning tattoos, insider information of the upcoming festivals, listening to the waves till I fall asleep, gather cashews from the backyard for feni. Life would be amazing, isn’t it? Well this is what goa does to you, takes you to this special place of simplicity and rejuvenation. Goa humbles you. Said nobody after visiting GOA, it wasn’t great. I have a small piggy bank, still collecting for my shack in GOA.
